Description: The Boundary geodatabase is the master layer for Annexations, CityPoly, CityLine, UrbanPoly, UrbanLine, City_Only, City_Only_Line, Pockets and Pockets_Line. When one of these layers need to get updated, Boundary is modified by Mike Hargreaves or Bette Smith, and then Model Builder is used by Mike Hargreaves to create the various layers. Because of the importance of these layers, Boundary is kept as up to date as possible.
Description: This is the general plan land use planning layer for the City of Santa Rosa, CA. It is part of advanced/long term planning that the Planning and Economic Development (PED) Department does. Please direct content-related questions about this layer to the PED Department. This layer was first created in 2008 and has been updated as needed to match current parcel boundaries. This is the most commonly used layer in the General Plan set of layers.
Description: This is a subset of the Sonoma County parcels GIS layer that shows the City of Santa Rosa, the City's Urban Growth Boundary area and other nearby parcels. This layer has been modified, adding extra fields/data, to meet City business needs. The City does not make geometry updates to this layer. This layer is updated monthly but the frequency of this update is dependant on Sonoma County updating and posting their parcel layer. This layer is the same as the "Parcels CW allinfo" layer except it is clipped to the area around Santa Rosa.
